The ISSA held an official meeting with the Senegalese Minister of Sport and National Olympic Committee to discuss upcoming partnerships and formally invite Senegal to the upcoming Riyadh 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games.

Collaboration with the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games team was also discussed, exploring ways to create impactful projects for the ISSA’s 57 member nations leading up to the Games.

The ISSA team attended the International Sports Convention in Africa (CISA) Conference, moderating an insightful panel on funding in sports and achieving financial sustainability in the industry.

This visit marks another step in our mission to foster solidarity through sports across the Islamic world.
